This poster portrays twenty songs, sounds and scenes which I believe best represent the world we live in today.
Using Google Earth I calculated how many steps it would take me personally to walk to all of my chosen scenes, for example Niagara Falls, from my home in Bristol.
Using my map of the world, I next walked in the same directions in Bristol, starting from my house, for the duration of each chosen song. When the song finished I recorded the first sound I heard when I removed my headphones from my ears.
These sounds are accurate portrayals of the world we live in day by day, whereas the songs and scenes are personal choices.
